Joshua Radin w/ Emily James

Joshua Radin w/ Emily James

Tuesday, November 18 @ 7:30PMTue, Nov 18 @ 7:30PM

Mainstage Theatre, 216 Union Street, Seattle

Following the release of his 2021 acclaimed album The Ghost and The Wall, Joshua left his material existence in the rearview, grabbed a backpack, packed his guitar, picked up a pen and a pad, hit the road in search of new stories to tell. Those stories comprise though the world will tell me so, volumes one & two which were released early 2023. During 2025, he turns the page on the next chapter of his career and life with his tenth full-length LP and first independent album since 2017, One Day Home. Immersing himself in the process mind, body, and soul, he pored over these 13 tracks, perfecting each moment and co-producing six tracks with Wally Gagel. This time around, he prepared the music for a double-LP release with one half original studio versions of the tracklisting and the other piano vocal versions. Musically, he taps into two sides of his sonic palette, leaning into soul and singer-songwriter stylings while tracing the journey of a romantic relationship.

Alberto Lombardi at The Rabbit Box

Alberto Lombardi at The Rabbit Box

Friday, November 21 @ 7:30PMFri, Nov 21 @ 7:30PM

The Rabbit Box, 94 Pike St, Seattle, WA

Defined “Italian Fingerstyle Master” by Acoustic guitar Magazine, Alberto Lombardi is an eclectic guitar virtuoso. He effortlessly goes from an acoustic tour with Tommy Emmanuel - or recently teaching at his international guitar camps - to producing his rock record with Bruce Springsteen and Rolling Stone’s legendary sound engineer Bob Clearmountain (“Home” 2020)

In this Solo Show Lombardi mixes his two souls in a fascinating and unusual way.

He plays on the acoustic his arrangements of great classics from the Italian and international tradition (from Volare to the Beatles, Sting, Stevie Wonder..) to rock and roll greats like Supertramp and Jeff Beck, and then he grabs the electric to color with melodic and lush guitar solos.

His guitar style is very personal, derived from the diverse musical experiences Alberto has in rock, pop and jazz as a session player and record producer. Incorporating acoustic fingerpicking, flatpicking, some looping and electronics, electric soloing and singing, Alberto can transform a single guitar into an orchestra.

His own instrumental compositions and full blown rock songs complete the picture of a unique live experience.

“Alberto… I listen to your CD, thank you! It sounds beautiful and your playing and arrangements are very powerful. I wish you much success !! Big admiration to you .. “ - Tommy Emmanuel

“the record is killing, such great musicianship!” - Nile Rodgers
