David James is a songwriter and producer from Seattle, performing original pop/soul and choice, retro covers in his own stylistic exegesis.

As a singer and guitarist, James’ background is diverse of bands and genres. He studied jazz composition at Cornish, and has worked since 2014 writing, recording, and touring with outfits like pop/soul Thing Be, psychedelic-rock General Mojo’s, dream-pop Noiya, folk/Americana Wolfchild, and hard-rock Jaded Mary. James is set to release his debut solo album in 2025.
