Billy Joe Huels (Dusty 45s), star of the 5th Avenue Theatre's production of 'Buddy', brings Buddy Holly and his friends, Richie Valens, the Big Bopper, Patsy Cline and Wanda Jackson back for one night only at the Triple Door. Featuring some of the Northwest’s most talented musicians - Kelly Van Camp, Billie Wildrick, Abbigale, Rich Gray, CJ Lorentz and THE DUSTY 45s. This year's show also features a horn section led by Trombonist, Greg Schroeder. 2 SHOWS! 6pm & 8:30pm In 1959, rockabilly icon Buddy Holly died in a tragic plane crash. He left behind his pregnant wife, several unfinished projects, and millions of fans. The musician with the black-framed glasses and innovative tunes inspired greats like Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, and The Beatles. And as most people know, his death is the inspiration behind Don McLean's "American Pie."
